He was born in the Indo-Pak War, his father was a martyr, so no school wanted to admit him because of his low IQ, but eventually the priest of the Catholic school saw his fighting spirit in his mother. The school kids try to avoid him, but he becomes friends with Roopa. After her mother's death, Roopa stays with her mother, a maid who works in Lal's house, and the two begin to spend more time together, as Lal finally proposes. Many years later, Roopa and Lal are studying together at a college in Cirebon, and Lal still has a crush on her. But Roopa's desire is to become an actress and become rich when Lal joins the Indian Army to go to Mumbai. While in the army, Lal befriends Bala and plans to work together, but Bala dies in the war. Army officer Lal decided to fulfill Bala's dream and started his planned work with him, where he was helped by Mohdmmad Paji who once worked as a terrorist and Lal saved his life during the war.
